When we browse through photos of Pinoy celebrity homes, we tend to look at the expensive furniture, the designer bags and shoes in their closets, and the number of important artworks that they have. But rarely do we take notice of how beautiful and dramatic the exterior facades of their home are. So we’ve rounded up a few of the striking architectural exteriors of some of the most popular celebs in the country.
Green “fence”
Singer Zsa Zsa Padilla lives with famous architect Conrad Onglao in a three-storey home in an exclusive village in Makati City. The white, modern structure is shielded from the road (it doesn’t have a traditional gate and fence like the other houses) with lush greenery by landscape designer Ponce Veridiano.

Glass beach house
With the help of his dad, actor Derek Ramsay had a stark, modern, glass house built in lieu of the traditional tropical beach house. “We could have built a concrete house, but why? You have that in Manila, and you’re trying to get away from all the concrete jungle. We want it to be homey, and you feel you’re at the beach talaga,” Derek says.

Rooftop idyll
When Dingdong Dantes was not yet married to Marian Rivera, he lived in a penthouse unit located on top of a residential building designed by Dingdong’s grandfather, Enrique Gonzales. The 300sqm home, which was designed by architects Ria and Glen Malig, looks like a house that is independent from the building, and is designed along modern-tropical lines.

Linear forms
Kobe and Andre Paras’s father Benjie Paras acquired the property more than a decade ago. The façade sports horizontal, linear lines, and the actor admits that maintaining the light color can be challenging. “Very light, parang off-white. Ang mahirap pag off-white sa labas, parang every how many years kailangan mong i-repaint,” he says.

All-white dream
Nikki Gil and her family used to live in this Las Piñas house, which they acquired in 2011. Architect Larry Mananquil added an extra floor to serve as the actress’s private sanctuary. The house sports a very modern, clean, all-white façade framed by angular eaves and corner windows.

A door by a National Artist
Lush date palms add a Mediterranean vibe to the tropical-modern home of Ang Probinsyano’s Coco Martin. The actor spared no expense—the main door is a stunning wooden sculpture made by the late National Artist for Visual Arts Abdulmari Imao, no less.

Tagaytay resort-style
TV host Willie Revillame’s Tagaytay retreat took inspiration from resorts in Bali, Uluwatu, Indonesia. The multi-level glass-and-concrete structure sports stone columns and a terraced water feature that turns to waterfalls in the outdoor area below.

Classic Locsin
Willie Revillame’s house in Ayala Heights in Quezon City was formerly owned by ABS-CBN boss Gabby Lopez and his then-wife Panjee Tapales. With a pitched roof, open areas, and dramatic timber columns, it is no surprise that this amazing home was designed by the late National Artist for Architecture Leandro V. Locsin.
