6 Things to Love About Dingdong Dantes' Home in Quezon City
Spot the interesting details in this Kapuso star's former penthouse space
Before Dingdong Dantes married Kapuso actress Marian Rivera, he lived on the top floor of a residential building designed by his grandfather Enrique Gonzales. With the help of Architects Ria and Glen Malig of Gamaconstruct, the 300sqm penthouse unit was transformed into a Modern Asian bachelor pad.
The penthouse unit looks exactly like a luxury Asian resort in the city. Its façade is defined by the slanted roof, the wooden columns, and the tropical touches.
The elaborate lighting system and fully upholstered furniture pieces make the living area feel grand and luxurious.
One corner of the living area has been turned into a bar perfect for relaxing and entertaining. The space is completed with an expensive Batman suit and 18-inch action figures kept in eight wooden shelves.
Who says that celebrities can't be practical? Instead of buying a brand new dining set, Dingdong used an old dining set that he has owned for many years.
On the other side of the space is a modestly-sized kitchen completed with a kitchen island and breakfast nook.
Instead of a traditional headboard, the bed is complemented by an accent wall. The accent wall has lighted niches used to display his acting awards and precious belongings.
The guest bathroom is defined by the dark tiles and the unique pieces. These surprising choices include the provocative nearly-nude painting by Louis Groff above the urinal. There is even a replica mask of Jason from Halloween and a replica bladed glove of Freddie Kruger from Nightmare on Elm Street in a wall-mounted shelf above the water closet.
