A tiny bedroom turned into a loft 

As a freelancer, homeowner John Austin Perez considers his bedroom as his very own home office, too. The only problem with this setup? Austin shared that his room looked too crowded.

So when he had more time in his hands during quarantine, the content creator-web designer decided to give his small bedroom a much-needed makeover.

To free up some floor space, Austin invested in a loft bed! This way, he's able to somehow keep his workstation and sleeping area separated.

A bright and airy makeover for a shared bedroom 

This tiny, attic bedroom is being shared by two sisters. Prior to the makeover, it was a cluttered place. A large mattress occupied most of the space, and there was little to no space for the siblings' belongings.

To transform the bedroom, interior designer Sharlene Lanzarrote replaced the mattress with two single beds, which she faced in opposite directions to maximize the space. 

AFTER 

Sharlene went for a neutral color scheme, which helped brighten up the attic. She also installed some built-in storage units beside the beds to keep the room from looking cluttered.

A hotel-like makeover for a small bedroom

Eunice Ostaco, a fresh graduate, always wanted to have a bedroom that looks like a hotel room. "[At first], it felt impossible since I was working with a limited space," she previously told Real Living.

She used to have a single bed in her tiny bedroom, and her study desk occupied "more than half of [her] room."
