The Trailer for Marie Kondo’s Show is Finally Here

One way or another, we’re sure you’ve stumbled upon the name Marie Kondo and her bestselling book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up. From applying it to the kitchen to managing a house with kids, Kondo’s KonMari Method has helped change the lives of many individuals by simply asking the question: “Does this spark joy?”

Early this year, we shared the exciting news that a KonMari show will soon be available on Netflix. A casting call was posted, inviting families, individuals, and couples from the Los Angeles area to take part and have the chance to work with the Japanese organizing guru herself. Now, after a long wait, we finally have a release date and a trailer for Tidying Up with Marie Kondo.

Are you ready to binge-watch? According to Netflix’s website, the show will debut on January 1, 2019. It’s a fitting start to a promising year, if we must say. Based on earlier reports and the trailer, Kondo will visit different homes filled with clutter and hoarded items. Aside from helping the owners transform their spaces, it will also show how they were able to let go and change their lives along the way.
