You Can Now Fly Direct to the Island Paradise of Sicogon

Back in the '70s and '80s, Sicogon Island in northern Iloilo was an exclusive getaway for the rich and famous. The island paradise eventually became forgotten—but not for long, as Ayala Land transformed Sicogon into a tourism estate similar to Lio in El Nido, Palawan. Getting there, however, can be quite a challenge as travelers take a three-hour bus ride from Iloilo City to Estancia or a two-hour bus ride from Roxas City to Estancia. But after some delay in its maiden flight back in 2018, AirSWIFT finally flew direct from Manila to Sicogon on December 16 (Friday).
