Whimsical design style changes a 63sqm Loft-type Condo
K-Zone and Good Dog editor Maggie Adan puts her creativity to good use in her blue-hued space overflowing with quirky pieces
Designing your home should be a way of expressing yourself. K-Zone and Good Dog magazine editor Maggie Adan took this advice to heart when she transformed a bare 63sqm loft-type condo into a feminine, forest-inspired wonderland.
Maggie began the renovation and decoration process by poring over home and design books, magazines, and websites to find design pegs. Her first decision was to paint most of the walls a pale, powder blue to achieve an airy and spacious feel. She furnished the space with a mix of pieces with playful patterns like a custom-made console, a blue and white ikat-printed chair, an Orla Keily-inspired ottoman from Crossings Home. Corners are highlighted with books, a lomo camera, ceramic figures of a fawn, an owl, and a swan, and other home accessories that reflect Maggie’s passions.
