We're Crushing on this Calming 34sqm Condo Unit in BGC

It has a soothing color palette that will make you feel like you're in a park

When interior designer Angelica Dumalus opened the door to let us inside this one-bedroom condo unit, our eyes were immediately drawn to the living area and its beautiful sage green accent wall. The high-rise haven has an undeniable calming ambiance—thanks to the soothing combo of greens, whites, grays, and touches of wood that dominate the space. The color scheme adds to the spacious feel of the unit, which surprisingly, measures only 34sqm. “It looks big because of the cut of the unit. Medyo square siya and we used light colors,” shares Angelica, who designed the condo for her cousin. “He didn’t have any specific requests and he’s not that particular to move in agad so we took our time in finishing the space. He respected my vision,” she adds.

From the well-thought-out storage nooks to the tiny details that make up its seamless aesthetic, the once bare unit became a tranquil urban retreat that will remind you of parks. “We chose to have a green accent wall to break the monotony in the space. It’s also reminiscent of trees, to create a feel of nature,” Angelica muses. True enough, it’s easy to feel at ease in this space. You’d want to plop down on the sofa and relish the relaxing ambiance, just like how you would sit in the park for hours, enjoying the gentle breeze.
