Take A Peek Inside this 13sqm Condo Unit in Mandaluyong

This unit proves that it's possible to live comfortably in a tiny space

When we got a chance to visit a 15sqm unit, we thought we’ve seen the smallest unit available in Metro Manila that’s comfy and functional. We got the sweetest surprise a few days ago when one of our followers on Facebook told us that he recently got a 13sqm unit in Mandaluyong. The high-rise property, which is located along EDSA, features micro units that cater to students, renters, and owners who convert units into rental homes. “This unit was really intended for rentals on Airbnb. I wanted to create a relaxing space for my guests,” says Dennis, who got the unit last March.

Taking inspiration from his bedroom, Dennis spruced up the tiny space with touches of green, white, and beige, with tropical-inspired prints and accessories completing the look. A loft bed and a compact dining set came with the unit upon turnover so Dennis only had to get a sofa bed and a few basic pieces to create a functional home. “The unit was really small so we tried to maximize the space. I really love the combination of green, white, and beige as [these colors] are very soothing. Most of the décor pieces installed in the space were extra pieces from my room,” Dennis adds.
