People invest in real-estate properties for different reasons. A high-rise space is a good choice for young professionals that need to be close to work. It can even be a perfect starter home for a newly-married couple. For parents like homeowner Doris Amora with children that go to school in the city, a condo unit can also help provide convenience, safety, and peace of mind.

Doris and her husband already own a spacious home in Cavite but they purchased a one-bedroom unit in Malate for their children Ken and Karen who go to the University of the Philippines Manila and Philippine Science High School in Quezon City, respectively. With the help of interior designer Kristine Neri-Magturo, they now have a comfortable, hip-looking home furnished with clever solutions for compact living.
