Name: Sai Dy

Type of Home: Three-Bedroom Condo renovated into a One-Bedroom Condo

Style of Home: Modern Industrial

Why would you turn a three-bedroom condo into a one-bedroom unit? Knocking down walls and creating an open space can help you make the most of your place! You can use one or two of the bedrooms as an area for entertaining friends and indulging in your favorite hobbies and activities.

For example, Pai Edles and Misty Floro of Morfosis Design transformed DJ-in-training Sai Dy's three-bedroom condo into a one-bedroom home. This allowed them to create a bigger master bedroom and a DJ room for the homeowner. They also defined the newly renovated property with a modern industrial design and a black-and-white color scheme.

Living Area

The living area is furnished with an L-shaped sofa by Morfosis Design. The seat is topped with a budget-friendly throw from S&R and black-and-white throw pillows from Our Home and H&M Home.

Living Area

Behind the gray sofa are mirrored panels that make the living area look bigger than it really is! It also adds an almost futuristic feel to the cozy and comfortable space.

Coffee Table

The coffee table top can be lifted to reveal hidden storage space! The extended table top can also be used as dining table.

If you would like a similar multifunctional piece for your own living area, you can purchase this table at La Sedia at Shangri-La Plaza.

Wooden Installation

This unique ceiling treatment also makes the living area more interesting! Since the wooden beams resemble sound waves, they reflect the homeowner's passion for music.

We loved the unique white and stainless-steel mosaic tiles of the kitchen backsplash! These tiles make the kitchen look special and outstanding.

We are also impressed by the pantry cabinet covered with chalkboard paint! This is an affordable way to personalize a black-and-white space. Plus, the surface can also be used for writing down messages, reminders, and grocery lists.

Dining Area

The kitchen island can also be used as the dining table! Pai and Misty covered the wooden counter with tempered glass that is easier to clean and maintain.

Hanging above the kitchen-island-and-dining-table are red industrial-style lamps that were also customized by Morfosis Design.

Dining Area

Pai and Misty also installed wooden pegs that can be used to store and display bottles of spirits and liquors.

DJ Room

Since the homeowner is studying to become a full-fledged DJ at Beat Project Manila, one of the bedrooms has been turned into a fun DJ room!

To create a soundproof space, Pai and Misty used a gray carpet and foam wall panels.

Wall Mural

The wall mural painted by AK Ocol is inspired by the homeowner's love for making and playing music.

Disco Ball

A mini disco ball is a fun and playful addition to this DJ room.

Master Bedroom

What do we like best about the master bedroom? It's difficult to choose between the matte black wall and the affordable and easy-to-maintain vinyl flooring material that looks like real wood!

We also took notice of the customized bed, side tables, and pendant lamps, all from Morfosis Design.

Swinging TV Panel

Facing the bed is a swinging TV panel that allows the homeowner to watch TV in the bedroom or even while working.

If you would also like a revolving TV panel for your own personal space, you can visit Ergo Home at SM Aura.
