Relaxing Colors for a 76sqm Condo
Neutral shades, interesting wallpaper, and open spaces change a small second home
For province-based families, investing in a “halfway home” or a place in the city where they can stay for the better part of the week is a great option. In line with this, an entrepreneur mom decided to find a Metro Manila for her daughter’s convenience and safety. To make the most out of the small 76sqm space, the homeowner asked interior designer Kristine Neri-Magturo to create a cozy and comfortable haven.
Since the place is limited, Kristine retained large windows that bathe the space with light and make the space seem airy and spacious. She also opted for white walls and floors paired with soft neutrals like light gray, beige, and blue with warm wood accents. Keeping the common areas open is another way to make the condo seem bigger than it really is: to mark the living and dining areas, patterned wallpaper is used instead of solid walls.
