Modern Victorian Design in a Three-Storey Condo
Rich colors, soft fabrics, and gleaming metallic finishes result in an elegant space for mother and son
Modern Victorian style creates a glamorous, sophisticated, and dramatic look in any home. In this three-storey condo owned by Agnes and her 6-year-old son Coby, this design choice leaves a lasting impact. Agnes explains that they rented the space and eventually made an offer to buy because she liked that it was near her office, had tight security, and that it made them feel like they were living in a real house.
Once she purchased the property, it had to be renovated by interior designer Andie Buenavista and his team: decorators Ella Garcia and Ed Santos, and contractors Jojo Diaz and Raymond dela Cruz. Their first steps were to get rid of the termites in the old wooden parquet flooring, fix the plumbing because there were leaks everywhere, and remove some of the old furniture and furnishings. The place was then filled with grand pieces and refined details for a luxurious effect.
