It’s hard not to be captivated by this two-bedroom home found in Bonifacio Global City. Each area boasts of well-thought-out details that would remind you of curated Pinterest boards, DIY décor that you can’t wait to try on your own, and custom-made must-haves that you’ll be curious about. With many rental properties sporting clean, modern, or hotel-inspired themes, this unit designed by TKSL Interior Design features a homey and inviting take on the Industrial style.

Since it can be a bit masculine, European chic pieces were added to soften the look. According to the owner of the place, they wanted to offer something unique to possible renters. Given the overall look that you’d love to recreate and the practical storage nooks that many would find clever and appealing, we’re one with the possible renters in saying—we’re sold!

Instead of leaving the space by the door empty, the design team opted to add a functional command center where the owners can leave belongings, organize bags, and even keep shoes. The bench can provide extra seating and even help them put on shoes.

Aside from the open shelves where photos and decor can be displayed, the gray ones are tiny cabinets where you can keep magazines, books, bags, and other knickknacks.

A white round mirror completes the look of the entryway—providing contrast against the dark wall and dominantly gray interiors. Meanhile, nesting tables hold vintage-inspired accessories and a glass table lamp.

Living Area

To open up the unit, the design team chose a calming palette of neutrals—with most of the walls and furniture in gray and white. The sheer shades allow natural light to stream into the space and add to the bright and airy look.

Living Area

In the living area, the entertainment system is kept neat in a built-in shelf. Different accessories fill up the nooks, with a basket that can hold remote controls and a couple of DVDs, too. A shag rug that follows the color palette anchors the living area while the vintage capiz window serves as wall accent.

Dining Area

Who wouldn't love this dining nook? According to the designer, the dining area is the most functional part of the home. It serves as an extension of the living area—as the owners and their guests can still join conversations and watch TV while enjoying meals. The upholstered banquet seat also has a hidden storage compartment underneath. To keep up with the industrial theme, a customized shelf made using pipes, a pair of metal chairs, and a dining table with steel legs were also added to the space.

Living and Dining Areas

From this angle, one can best appreciate the openness of the unit and how the owners can move freely from one area to the next. To further maximize the extra counter in the kitchen, a pair of stools was added to carve out a breakfast nook. The poufs in the living area hold a secret surprise—these are storage units that can be used to keep reading materials and extra throws.

The industrial-inspired shelf customized by TKSL Interior Design holds a variety of accessories—including a vintage phone, a flat iron, and even painted terracotta pots. A couple of woven baskets can be used to store tiny essentials.

White and gray touches complete the spacious kitchen—with the gray cupboards and cabinets providing enough storage for utensils, equipment, and food supplies. The design team also added extra nooks where small appliances and extra dinnerware can be kept.

Vertical space was also maximized in the kitchen. A wire basket was installed to hold pots, pans, and mugs, while a metal strip holds the commonly used utensils.

To keep the cooking area functional, two extra countertops are seen on both sides of the stove. These additions can help the owner work efficiently.

To say that the bedroom is inviting would be an understatement. It's quite a dream—the bed provides a calming respite after a long day, while the built-in desk with cabinets and a Ghost chair make for a sleek work area.

Touches of white, gray, and a bit of black keep the bedroom relaxing and perfect for a good night's sleep. Aside from the pair of table lamps that add elegance, a couple of DIY projects also complete the look. The painted terracotta pots add a pop of color, while the hollow blocks in white serve as additional decor.

To give the bathroom a bit of warmth and rustic flair, black-and-white machuca tiles were used to liven up the wall, while wood was used to frame the mirror. Wall-mounted wooden cabinets and shelves also provide storage.
