Since the owners wanted to have a minimalist style that would appeal to future tenants, Tala worked with natural finishes, a neutral color scheme, and an open layout to keep the unit airy and looking spacious. In addition to bringing in new pieces, the designer also incorporated some of the quirky must-haves left by the previous homeowner into the final look. These touches not only added a laid-back feel to the space, it also made it easier for Tala to keep within the project’s budget. After the renovation period, the unit is now ready for viewing—with natural light coming in from the windows, the inviting seating pieces, and its charming nooks—it has become an envy-worth space that anyone would love to call home.
