A Homeowner Achieves Her Dream Home Made of Concrete, Wood, and Steel
Interior designer Wilmer Lopez translates the homeowner’s style preference in this condo home

When homeowner Annie Santos first saw the unit she felt most at home in, her initial reaction was, “Wow, ang liit. Storage, saan?” She knew that it was going to be a problem, which is why she opted to combine two units. As soon as she got her space issues solved, she then sought the help of interior designer Wilmer Lopez of WLopez Designs in achieving the look she wanted. “Annie already had a mental picture of how her space would look like. What made it easy was that we have the same style preference,” shares Wilmer. The “mental picture” he was referring to was the combination of concrete, wood, and steel, which was the one thing Annie was sure of.
Aside from getting the industrial look down pat, Wilmer also made sure that the space is functional, flexible, and very much resembles Annie’s personality: “straightforward, honest, and warm.”
