A Contemporary Industrial Style for a One-Bedroom Condo
Bare cement walls and hints of yellow set the tone of this 80sqm space

Those who are planning to have condo units rented out usually have two important things to consider. Aside from making sure the space will appeal to possible renters, one must also think about how to make a home equally stylish and functional.
In this 80sqm, one-bedroom unit designed by interior designer Gwen Dy, the owner wanted to achieve a cool and funky vibe that many can relate to. With the rise in popularity of the industrial style, Gwen suggested having a cement wall finishing. The owner, who is a retired chief legal counsel based in Hong Kong, happily agreed and even proposed throwing in touches of lime green or yellow. The final look features a balance of edgy, bright, and homey—with an interesting mix of furniture and accessories.
