Homeowner Janette took an investment risk in the late 1990s by purchasing a condominium unit in Quezon City that was yet to be built and could only be described as a plot of land in a potentially developing area. A decade and more later, the location where she bought her property blossomed into what is now the thriving Eastwood City complex.

Her investment has not only grown in value, but it has also become a halfway house for her when she sought the assistance of three interior designers from LP Design Group, namely, Chelle Laborte, Tantan Pambid, and Monica Lagman. The three designers got to know Janette, listened to her input and suggestions, and with their expertise and know, came up with a youthful and vibrant space that is an ideal respite within a bustling commercial complex like Eastwood.

One of Janette’s travels introduced her to IKEA, a Swedish furniture brand that makes some of the world’s most affordably chic home pieces. She loved IKEA products so much that she told her interior designers to specifically create color-themed spaces that would accommodate and integrate IKEA products into her home. The result is a modern and sleek flat that is airy, sunny, and dynamic, a design aesthetic that closely resembles its owner’s colorful and playful personality.
