A 47sqm One Bedroom Condo With A View
With its open layout and curved floor-to-ceiling windows, this unit lets you enjoy the city without leaving the comforts of home

Given the owner’s plans of having this investment unit rented, architect Ian Palad and interior designer Denise Guieb-Palad of Project 1212, Inc. drew inspiration from boutique hotels to achieve an inviting space that would appeal to many. And true enough, it’s hard not to feel instantly at home the moment you step inside. The living and dining areas are bathed in natural light, contemporary furnishings complete the home, and a play of light and bold colors can be seen.
With its angled floor plan and curved windows, choosing pieces that would fit in the different areas proved to be a challenge. However, with the right mix of colors, a few small space tricks, and clever solutions, the design duo was able to finish the project with flying colors. The result is not only stylish and functional, it has become a cozy haven with a view of the hustle and bustle of the city, too.
