If you think that a home below 24sqm has no room whatsoever for style, then you are mistaken. These seven condo and studio units run the design gamut from industrial modern to elegant-eclectic, and offer awesome space-saving solutions, as well. There’s even a modern minimalist condo unit here that’s only 11sqm!

23sqm Bachelor-style studio

Architect Maya Franco created a youthful take on a bachelor pad for this Avida Riala model unit in Cebu. She designed a dynamic but space-saving layout by screening off the sleeping/lounging area (the screen also has shelves), integrating the wardrobe closet into workspace, and an open kitchen with a clever dining table that can be folded away into the counter when not needed.

The finishing touch: a geometric, sculptural metal “four-poster” frame for the bed.

Instead of going for the usual minimalist-modern interiors for a studio unit, architect Allen Oblena and interior designer Vera Villarosa Orila went the other direction and filled this studio unit with eclectic, vintage furnishings to create an elegant and sophisticated look. They defined the living area by creating a wall panel made out of floral fabric from Townes.

17sqm of sustainable design

Interior designer and eco-living advocate Willie Garcia merged modern style and sustainable living in this Manila studio unit. One of the standout features is this headboard/ceiling/wall accent made out of leatherized water hyacinths. Water hyacinths cause flooding in waterways and rivers, so harvesting this plant minimizes this.
