5 Clever Uses For Car Wax Aside From Cleaning Your Automobile

Today, we're adding one thing to the list that might surprise you—car wax! Whether in paste or liquid form, wax is formulated to give a high shine to materials like glass and metal while protecting them from stains, making it perfect for cleaning your home.

1. Hide scratches in stainless steel appliances.

If you find that your appliances are scarred by scratches (i.e. moving magnets around the fridge, scrubbing the sink too hard), try rubbing in some wax to make them "disappear." The wax fills the lines in so it won't be as noticeable. 

2. Shine kitchen and bathroom fixtures.

Similarly, a little car wax makes your faucets, drawer pulls and towel rods look brand new again. Just make sure to buff it in with a rag well to avoid a greasy finish. 

3. Fight mildew.
