This furniture store at Vertis North has everything that an elegant city dweller needs

The mixed-use development Vertis North has recently become the meetup place of choice for lunches and dinner with friends and family, mainly because it's relatively new and much more quiet than the other shopping malls in Quezon City.

Now, there's another reason to visit Vertis North aside from eating. Furniture and lifestyle store Home & Beyond just opened last February,  and we think it's just perfect for condo-dwellers and first-time homeowners. This furniture store is under the same group who gave us furniture brand Global Views, but while the Shangri-la Hotel BGC-based brand is more about luxe opulence, Home & Beyond has an aesthetic that is sophisticated but attainable. Here's what you can expect from the store:

It's a local brand. Unlike Global Views, an international brand with international designers, Home & Beyond is a brand on its own, featuring locally made and designed furniture pieces, made out of materials that were mostly meticulously sourced locally, as well.

Most of the furniture can be customized. Another plus point of this local brand is that most of the furniture pieces can be customized to your liking and specifications, from the choice of upholstery, finish, heights or backrests, choice of armrest, and more.

The pieces have a timeless elegance about them. The furnishings are timeless and sophisticated (check out the subtle tufting of the chairs and the beautiful graining of the natural wood tables), but these can all go well with contemporary or modern interiors.

You can match or mix the pieces. Unlike other stores that force you to buy furniture pieces in sets, Home & Beyond carry complementary pieces such as dining or accent chairs, side tables, and more that you can mix in with the larger pieces.

They have a good selection of animal hides. Are you a fan of trendy animal hide rugs or throws? Home & Beyond carries a wide selection of authentic animal hides such as cowhide, sheepskin, and even reindeer skin that would definitely accent a space.
