The Latest IKEA Collection Is Anything But Neutral

These multicolored and mixed-print pieces from IKEA's latest designer collaboration are just wild, and you’ll like it!

Swedish furniture brand IKEA is known for versatile, affordable pieces that can blend into any style of home. Think of the neutral tones of the basic beige Poang armchair, and the light-colored laminate of the Lack table.

But their latest limited-edition collection Spridd, done in collaboration with fashion designer Kit Neale, is anything but beige. In fact, it’s all colors of the rainbow, with clashing prints, and a lot of humor and spunk thrown in.  The UK-based designer is known for his bold print designs borne from early hip-hop and youth culture.

The Keith Haring-esque graphics are infused into duffle bags, tumblers, bed sheets, storage boxes, and even tents; all designed to put a smile on your face. Here are some of our picks:

The Spridd tents are the most expensive pieces in the collection, and go for AU$79.

Each tent can fit two people. Great for glamping!

These cozy quilt covers and pillowcases are so funky. Try using them in a tween’s room.

Add a couple of these crazy-graphic cushion covers to jazz up a white or black sofa.

Who wouldn’t want to wake up to coffee in these fun mugs? Some of the designs come printed on T-shirts, too.

The Spridd collection was initially launched in Australia. It will be available in the rest of the world (or until supplies last) in February 2017. For more info, click here.
