Ever since it was announced that IKEA is coming to the Philippines, we've been busy daydreaming of the things we're immediately taking to the check-out counter and waiting for new releases to add to our wishlist—that includes the latest STOCKHOLM 2017 Collection

First launched in 1984, this line of furniture from the retail giant is considered a staple in every European home as it was created with the goal of incorporating smart craftsmanship into all the pieces. The Creative Lead for the collection, Viveca Olsson, also says the updated version of the classic is made with the same values in mind that STOCKHOLM has always stood for—long-lasting products made with graceful materials and well-designed pieces for everyday life.

Check out our top three favorites from the collection:

In main photo: The Stockholm 2017 Sofa (Navy) by Ola Wihlborg, $1299 (around P60, 000) and Stockholm 2017 Cabinet by Nike Karlsson, $349, (around P18,000)

The cabinet, made from rattan, ash, pine and brass, doesn't only give you extra storage for your linens—it can also add the right amount of island charm to your space. Complete the look with a woven chair and gray velvet cushions that match it perfectly.
