Occupying a spacious floor on the third level of the Abenson building in Bonifacio Global City, Habitat entices you to take a casual stroll as you browse the various items on display. One end of the floor houses bed frames and mattresses bathed in natural light—thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows. Opposite this are living and dining room setups that are also bright and inspiring.

 

There are also home decorating must-haves grouped according to purpose: lamps and lighting pieces, most of which are unusual in form, occupy a nook; kitchenware—from plates to cutting boards to tea infusers—are neatly stacked on shelves; a corner adjacent to the cashier carries plush throw pillows beside rows of home scents encased in candy-colored glass bottles. The variety readily affords you the luxury of choice.

While Habitat has seasonal collections, it also has its core pieces in store. “There’s always going to be new products coming in, but there’s a lot of core products that just works…But the cool thing about our products is you can change the chairs. A lot of our stuff are kind of a mix-and-match,” says Mark Zwolfer, Habitat general manager, referring to the many choices of dining tables and chairs that can be readily paired with each other.

Inject interest to that blank wall in your dining area by adding slim shelves. Just remember to decorate with restraint so as not to make the space look cluttered.
