6 Tips for Buying Christmas Ornaments
Choose your decorations wisely with these handy tips
Ornaments add a warm Yuletide cheer to any space. To help you choose the right ones, here's a list of things to remember when you shop for last minute decorations.
Make the right choice between glass and plastic pieces
If you change your décor theme every year, buy affordable plastic ornaments. But if you love collectibles and don’t mind repeating decors, make an investment and buy the quality glass ornaments, they never go out of style.

Don’t invest on paper-based decors (e.g. tinsel, paper lamps)
Tinsel tarnishes and goes out of trend easily. They are also hard to store and maintain.
Choose good quality ribbons
Look for fabric wired ribbons as these are easy to manipulate and attach. Aside from visiting your favorite stores, you may also want to visit Divisoria for finds.

Go classic if you can't finalize the colors of your decor
Having the gold, red and green palette every year is always safe, and it looks the most Christmas-y.
Consider different sizes when buying decor
Ideally, have a maximum of four kinds of ornaments (balls, ribbons, teardrops and showers for example) and play with different sizes of each.
