Over the years, Marikina has become one of the hottest spots for almost everything aside from quality shoes. It has tons of food spots, new restaurants, and home stores that are yet to be discovered by Pinoys.

If you're working on a holiday itinerary, make sure you include Lilac Street as one of your stops. The street is home to Lokal, a home, fashion, and art store where visitors can shop for hand-painted customized pieces curated by owner Connie Macatuno's twelve-year-old son.
