Who can forget Boo's iconic white door with little pink flowers? When I was younger, I wanted one just like it for my room but I was afraid a monster would come and visit me, too. Still, Monster's Inc. holds a special place in my heart. It wasn't only witty and delightful to watch, it also taught me many things: bravery, the importance of friendship, and to not pass judgement on others. 

When I watch the film today, it's not just the heartwarming story of Sulley and Mike that I enjoy. I find myself taking note of the details of the settings as well. Who knew there were so many clever design tips we can use from Boo's nursery?
