Get The Look Of Boo's Nursery in Monsters Inc. With These 4 Must-Haves

So Sulley and Mike can pay her a visit, too!

Who can forget Boo's iconic white door with little pink flowers? When I was younger, I wanted one just like it for my room but I was afraid a monster would come and visit me, too. Still, Monster's Inc. holds a special place in my heart. It wasn't only witty and delightful to watch, it also taught me many things: bravery, the importance of friendship, and to not pass judgement on others.

When I watch the film today, it's not just the heartwarming story of Sulley and Mike that I enjoy. I find myself taking note of the details of the settings as well. Who knew there were so many clever design tips we can use from Boo's nursery? Here are some of my favorite ideas that you can try at home:

When she's not going on adventures with Sulley, we can imagine Boo singing and drawing by her window seat! If your space cannot accommodate a daybed, you can go for a two-seater sofa instead. Place it near your kid's cabinet or drawer to create a makeshift play area where she can hang out after school.

In the film, Boo keeps her pens and crayons in colorful bins. Recreate the same look for your little girl's study area with a couple of these metal baskets that look exactly the same! It can be a very efficient storage system for toys as well.

Boo didn't exactly have a bunny pillow but I'm guessing she would want one if she had a choice. This plush pillowcase would look great as an accent piece in your child's space. You can place it on her bed or her couch for an extra adorable touch.

Even as a toddler, Boo always made her bed and kept it neat. Remember that a tidy sleeping area pulls together the overall look of the bedroom and it can be ruined by a messy bed. Consider getting sheets in your kid's favorite color and prints to keep the nursery looking A+!
