7 Affordable Home Depot Finds

This new home depot in Cavite has got everything from furniture to the kitchen sink—and at wallet-friendly prices, too!

If you think that builder’s home depots are all about plywood and light bulbs, you’ll change your mind once you visit this brand new depot in the south. The newly opened CW Home Depot Imus has all that (tools, water closets, lighting, and yes—plywood and lightbulbs), but it also carries pretty stylish finds such as trendy subway and penny tiles, the latest cooking hobs, and even modern furniture.

We went around the different divisions of the depot, from the Home Builder’s Superstore and DIY Section, the Home Interior Superstore, and the Home Appliance Superstore and found these essential home items at amazingly low prices:

On-trend tiles for the floor and walls

Enter the Home Builder’s Superstore and a sea of tiles in every color, finish, and material will greet you. Do wade through it—even if it seems to be a daunting task—because you’ll come across some pleasant surprises.

Case in point are these gorgeous wooden tiles (left) that are perfect for an accent wall for a Tropical-Asian house. Now if you’re looking for a modern-industrial Brooklyn look, try these black-and-white mosaic tiles that are reminiscent of old subway walls.

Bathroom packages below P5,000

You read it right—below P5,000! Which may come as a shock because the bathroom is usually one of the more costly rooms in the house to build or renovate. But with CW’s home brand Cool Bath System, it now could be a very affordable project. They offer reasonably priced bathroom fittings that are actually easy on the eyes. Look for the Addy Package C if you’d want to furnish a powder room for just a little over P4,000! Priced at P4,399, it includes a water closet, sink, plumbing fittings, soap holder, and a toilet paper holder.

A complete set of kitchen appliances

A kitchen isn’t just about sinks, counters, and cabinets. It also needs to be fitted with the right appliances. Complete an entire kitchen in just one trip to the home depot. They’ve got gas ranges, range hoods, and stovetops from trusted brands like La Germania and Markes. While you’re there, don’t forget the smaller kitchen appliances like rice cooker, microwave oven, blender, food steamer, and bread toaster.

Condo-friendly dining sets and sofas

From the established doña to newlywed nesters, everyone can find a sofa in a style that they like (and could afford) under one roof. There is also one part of the second floor that is dedicated to various dining table sets—from midcentury-modern to Asian—that are perfect for small condo homes.

Their prices are as varied as the styles, from a MS Kingston Sofa Bed at P29,880 to a Mara Corner Sofa at P108,880.

Recliners that are 40% off

There’s a reason why recliners one of the most popular TV (or guy) chairs in the world because they’re extremely comfortable. Now, in celebration of their recent opening, CW Home Depot is offering a 40% discount on their recliners exclusively at their Imus Branch until the end of July!

Faux grass

Stylists and production designers, rejoice! This depot also carries synthetic turf or as we fondly call it, “fake grass.” They come in varying levels of height and “realness.” Prices ranges from P1,800 (DECOGRASS Pine Mist) P3,300 (DECOGRASS Dragon Tail and DECOGRASS Parsley Coat) to P3,600 (DECOGRASS Moonwalker) per 1 x 2-meter cut. The Moonwalker looks especially realistic, with faux “dead weed” accents in between the grass blades.

Visit CW Home Depot at Aguinaldo Highway near corner Daang Hari, Anabu II, Imus, Cavite, or check out their website for details.
