4 Decor Ideas Inspired By MAC Lipstick Favorites

Who wouldn't want Ruby Woo-colored walls?

Over the years, I've earned a reputation for having a lot of lipstick. Somehow it greatly affects my mood and portrays who I want to be for that day. If I'm asked to choose only one lipstick brand—I'm going to choose MAC for their iconic selection. Fellow MAC girls would agree that aside from being able to tell the difference between Rebel and Pink Nouveau, we all have one go-to tube that we'll wear until we hit pan.

Have you ever loved a shade so much that you wanted to see it around your home? If your answer is yes, today is your lucky day! We've created color schemes inspired by four drop-dead gorgeous MAC lipsticks that you can try for a design upgrade:

If you like out-of-this-world colors, the upcoming stone-gray MAC x Halsey lipstick is going to be your new ride or die. When it comes to your space, you can go for a darker palette. Don't be afraid to mix black with different shades of gray to keep the room from looking flat. If you want to add a pop of neon, try hanging a contemporary piece or a print-out of your favorite painting.

A true bright purple, Heroine is not for the faint of heart. Since colors like this can look too bold when overdone, you can add small punches through a couple of decor pieces. Consider it for drapes, throw pillows or one big acccent piece like a storage unit (as seen in photo).

Ruby Woo is a classic choice for those who are powerful but proper at the same time. Vivid blue-reds are also perfect if you want to add an accent wall in your living area. It's vibrant, inviting, and like its lipstick counterpart, it will never go out of style.

Sin is a shade that suits those who want to add a bit of drama to their look. It's deep and dark but still very wearable. Translate it into your decor by keeping everything classic and streamlined, except for a few unconventional pieces. For the bedroom, you can experiment with an ornate four-poster in black or using outdoor furniture as an accent chair.
