Aside from your usual weekend cleaning and grocery shopping, you may want to drop by Escolta this weekend for the August staging of the Saturday Market by 98B COLLABoratory. It is scheduled tomorrow, August 15, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The theme for this month is Philippine Animals & Pets so expect such interesting finds and pieces.
In partnership with the First United Building (FUB) and the Escolta Commercial Association (ECAI), it is a bazaar, garage sale, thrift shop, black market, and meeting place. Artists, craft makers, and designers sell their wares: from artworks, limited edition shirts, handmade clothes, books, bags, jewelry, accessories, toys, magazines, CDs, stickers to one-of-a-kind merchandise.
