Would You Buy These Dolce & Gabbana Kitchen Appliances?

Together with Smeg, the Italian fashion house recently introduced the Sicily is my love collection

Whether it’s a new song, a book, or any work of art—collaborations seem to make things better. Coming from the success of the handpainted refrigerators that they launched last year, Italian giants Dolce & Gabbana and Smeg have another surprise for us—a line of small kitchen appliances that showcase Sicilian craftsmanship and modern technology.

Unveiled at the recently held Milan Design Fair, Salone del Mobile di Milano in Italy, the collection known as Sicily is my love highlights toasters, juicers, blenders, and mixers in bold and lively colors—with patterns and details that are reminiscent of the coast of Italy.

In an article by Good Food Australia, the appliances feature five distinct prints that speak of D&G’s famous aesthetic.

These prints include bright fruits, florals, images of Mount Etna, an active stratovolcano on the east coast of Sicily, the ruins of the Greek temple of Castor and Pollux in the Valley of Temples, and the trinacria, the shape of the island of Sicily as seen on the Sicilian flag.

Now who wouldn’t want to have these beautiful pieces on their kitchen countertops? Aside from making tasks easier and more pleasing, these must-haves would look good as decor when not in use! Can’t wait to have one? Details about the price, where to get one, and when it will be available will be announced soon.
