Before purchasing a new sofa for your home, ask yourself: "Who will use this piece?" If you have little ones running around the house, you may want to consider getting a piece that's easy to maintain and clean.

However, if you've just moved in into your new condo home, you may want to go for a sofa bed to save on space. Here are six styles of sofa that you can also check out.


If your home highlights clean and crisp lines, you may want to consider a tuxedo sofa. It has squared-off arms paired with boxy cushions.

Camel back

Also known as Chippendale, the camel back has a unique silhouette at the higher center of the piece which descends into the arms. Consider this style for a classic and timeless feel.

The Lawson style may look formal, yet it is uniquely designed to exude comfort. It is known for its neatly tucked arms and removable cushions.

Sofa bed

Sofa beds are also multipurpose pieces that can be converted or folded into a bed when needed. It can usually allow a full or a queen-size mattress as it has a bigger frame.

Sectional sofa

Sectionals are two to three practical pieces of sofa chairs placed side-by-side in an L-shaped orientation, to define a living room space. This piece is perfect for living areas as it allows families to relax and lounge.
