A new go-to location is about to be completed in Cebu City, and it will be right where the upcoming Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) ends. The 26-hectre South Coast City will be a hub of leisure and commerce, and a well-balanced mix of high-rise buildings and greenery.

The waterside development will be built by Ayala Land (which will be investing P90B in the property), SM Prime Holdings, and Cebu Holdings. It will feature a 1.1-hectare park, Cebu’s first-ever Arena, a convention center, and other recreational facilities. By South Coast City will be a 2.7-hectare business hub called District Square, which will have commercial lots from 1,777 sqm to 2,691 sqm up for sale.

Probably one of the highlights of the property is its greenery. Aside from the park, it will also feature a tree-lined system of bike and pedestrian lanes that will connect District City to the main area of South Coast City, encouraging people to slow down and enjoy the outdoors more.

South Coast City is set to be completed in May 2022, while District Square is on June 2022.
