Pasig residents will have a new reason to rejoice—Ortigas East, formerly known as Frontera Verde and home to Tiendesitas, is about to undergo a transformation into the hip new lifestyle and entertainment hub to be!

Tiendesitas, located along C5 Highway and Julia Vargas Avenue, has always been well-known for offering a wide variety of locally-made products, ranging from home furniture and décor to native food and delicacies.

In addition to the artistic products available in Tiendesitas, it is also close to other remarkable spots, including the leisure center Fun Ranch and Ark Avilon Zoo. At any given day, you’ll find families having fun in these popular locations.

This holiday season, there is another reason why you should definitely pay Tiendesitas a visit—the shopping complex will be opening its annual Ortigas East Christmas Light Tunnel. Not only does this attraction promise to be a visual feast, but coming here will guarantee you lovely memories to last a lifetime, plus several IG-worthy snaps! The tunnel will be opening this November 6, so make sure to pay it a visit!

The planned redevelopments to Ortigas East, which are already in full swing, will make coming to Tiendesitas an even more enjoyable experience. It will be home to more outlets, including popular restaurants and bars, particularly in Silver City, a business center located in the area. These establishments will be the newest additions to the others already there, which include SM Hypermarket and a Shell gas station. These establishments address the everyday needs of nearby residents.

Aside from retail and business outlets, a significant portion of Ortigas East will be turned into open parks and spaces, perfect for spending a relaxing day with the family. A new transport system is also in the works, which will allow guests to move around the area easily.

With all these great new amenities at hand, Ortigas East is surely going to be the best new place to visit!
