Nesthy Petecio Will Be Receiving a Condo Unit Worth P10M for Her Olympic Silver Win
It's going to be in Davao!
Nesthy Petecio, the Filipina boxer who won silver in the women’s featherweight division of the Tokyo Olympics, is going to be gifted a P10M condo in Davao City courtesy of Suntrust Properties Inc.’s chairman Dr. Andrew L. Tan.
In a release, Suntrust president Atty. Harrison Paltongan says that the Olympian rightfully “deserves the reward… for the pride she gives to the Filipino nation.”
The fully-furnished unit will be located in One Lakeshore Drive, a township in Davao Park District in Lanang, which is an hour away from Nesthy’s hometown of Sta Cruz, Davao del Sur. The area gives her easy access to commercial establishments as well as a state-of-the-art hospital.
Prior to Nesthy, Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz also received several properties from the public and the private sector, including a condo unit in Eastwood City which was given by Megaworld, of which Suntrust Properties Inc. is a subsidiary.
