Get Ready for the First Muji Coffee in the Philippines

Back in April, Muji Philippines dropped hints that it would be opening a café in the Philippines. Well, the time for speculation is over as the retailer has officially announced that we're getting the first Muji Coffee in the country.

Muji Just Released a New Prefab House, and It's a Minimalist's Dream

If you remember, Muji opened its first store in the Philippines in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) back in 2010. Over 10 years later, the store is moving to a bigger space in Central Square. The 1,400-square-meter space will be three times the size of the previous store… which means we're getting triple the contents along with new concepts.

"We are excited to announce that after 10 years in BGC, we are moving our store to a much bigger space in Central Square. With a bigger store space, we hope to contribute more to the lives of the BGC community with everyday products and services that support daily life. As a thank you for your continuous support, we will open the first Muji Coffee in the Philippines," Muji wrote on Facebook.

The first-ever Muji Coffee will open at the store. It will also have more walker active wear, children's wear, and innerwear, as well as a water refilling station. Along with that, the store will carry specialty products and services such as the Muji Labo unisex clothing line, Open Muji, and free consultation services with interior, styling, and experience advisors.

Back to Muji Coffee, though. The café will have coffee (of course) and tea along with light snacks inspired by Japanese treats. The coffee and select tea beverages will use coffee beans and tea leaves certified by the Rainforest Alliance, and products will be offered in sustainable or recycled packaging.

Not much is known yet about the café apart from all that, but you won't have to wait long anyway since it's opening on June 3.
