A lot has shifted during the pandemic, especially since it pushed everyone to cocoon at home. Did you know, however, that residential spaces are still very much in demand?

According to a study by Carousell Property, buyers are look to acquire house-and-lots over condominiums, as it offers more open spaces.

“It used to be the other way around before the pandemic,” says Shine Resurrection, Carousell Philippines Head of Property. “We saw the shift starting in the third quarter of last year.”

This is proven by spaces we’ve recently featured, including a compound of tiny houses in Romblon, as well as a container-inspired home in Bukidnon. But while there are those opting to go back to their home provinces or to move to rural areas, many are still willing to stay in Metro Manila and in nearby vicinities, such as the Central and Southern Tagalog regions.

So, if you’re working in the metropolis and you’re looking for ample space for you and your family, you may want to drop by the Carousell Property Online Expo, a “virtual venue for property seekers,” which showcases over 1,500 property listings from legit developers, agencies, brokers, and agents, including those from Robinsons Homes, RLC Residences, SMDC, Aboitiz Land, and Empire East Land Holdings, among others. Deep dive into the ins-and-outs of real estate by joining in virtual talks from experts such as David Leechiu, CEO of Leechiu Property Consultants Inc., Gerald Evangelista, RE/MAX Capital Project Director for Project Sales, and many more—all for free. Lastly, if you find the home of your dreams and you reserve it during the Carousell Property Online Expo, you also get the chance to win a home makeover worth P330,000!
