When finally considering getting a home to call your own, you'll first need to consider exactly what kind of space you'll be living in. Will you be in an apartment or a condo? Do you prefer a studio size or maybe you want a place with one bedroom? Is it close to necessities like the pharmacy, bank, and supermarket? There's a lot to consider, so you need to make sure that you choose the right residence.

According to Ashley, she usually uses Facebook Marketplace to search for listings since she finds it more convenient to search in there. You can usually find the actual photos of the place, plus the price, payment schemes, and point person in there.

Price range

The price range of the condos and apartments Ashley checked out is between P15,000 to P25,000. She shared that she's eyeing a one-bedroom apartment since she plans on using it as her closet and space for storage.

Things she considers before choosing a place

Ashley shared that there are three things she considered before choosing a place: Location (to make sure it is close to the necessities), lighting (tons of natural lighting is a must, especially in her line of work), and the ideal set-up (since she will be transforming the "bedroom" into her closet and storage area).

Her best advice before renting a place

Ashley stressed the importance of saving up for your rent. According to her, you need to make sure to save up for at least half a year of rent before you move in. This will give you some much-needed peace of mind.

She also shared the payments you'll need to make before moving in. For her example, she used an apartment that costs P15,000 to rent. Here's the breakdown:
