A Hotel-Like Makeover for a One-Bedroom Condo Unit
Take a peek inside this posh 39sqm home!

The owners of this one-bedroom condo unit have always dreamed of coming home to a space that looks and feels like a fancy hotel suite. After all, who doesn’t want to feel like they’re on vacation all the time? With the help of interior designer Cara Fajardo, they were able to make that happen!
BEFORE
Prior to the makeover, the bare 39sqm unit had yellowish walls. Cara went for a cool color palette of grey and blue mixed with white to open up the space while making it feel more calming and inviting.
AFTER
Like most one-bedroom condo units, this posh home has an open layout for the living and dining areas.
To achieve a free-flowing space, Cara opted for a round dining table instead of squeezing in a rectangular one into the tiny home. “The absence of sharp corners creates a better flow [in the unit]," she tells Real Living.
With the limited floor area, Cara also furnished the living area with multi-functional pieces like a sofa-bed and a console table that doubles as a drawer for extra storage space. She also installed a floor-to-ceiling mirror between the living and dining areas to visually expand the space. At the same time, it also helps reflect the natural light coming from the window, making the entire unit appear brighter.
Printed wallpapers in muted hues add an elegant touch to the space!
This chic and cozy bedroom will make you want to stay in bed all day.
