Mini Makeovers: A Minimalist Bedroom in Makati

Inspired by their family home and their life in Japan, Tata Enerio creates a clean and simple space

Since her family home is in Fairview, Quezon City and her office is in Malacañang and at the Department of Foreign Affairs building along Roxas Boulevard, homeowner Tata Enerio soon found it tiring to go to work everyday.

As a more practical alternative to her daily commute, Tata’s parents let her stay in the family’s condominium unit in Makati. The space was filled with basic appliances for everyday use and hand-me-down items collected from her family’s previous postings abroad. “We hastily put together whatever furniture we had lying around the house into the unit,” explains Tata.
