RL Makeovers: Antique Pieces for a Family's Lanai

Homeowner Tina Mossesgeld's veranda functioned as an additional living, dining, entertaining, and work area for her family. However, the space lacked order and style -- the furniture pieces seemed randomly thrown together. Moreover, the room was already filled with a haphazard mix of the family's belongings. 

Interior designer Lisa Salvador stepped in to create a more stylish and streamlined lanai. Before anything else, Lisa stressed the importance of proper space planning. She explained that each area should have its own function. In order to do this, she moved the home's existing furniture around to segregate the space and maximize the potential of the room.
