This Bright and Airy Duplex Makeover Was Done With a P350K Budget
Take a look inside this cozy rental home in Nueva Ecija.
When Real Living reader Lizette Salvador bought this 36sqm duplex house, it was bare and dingy. It had raw cement floors and "there were no partitions," Lizette shared. But with a little creativity, she was able to transform this small space into a bright and airy Airbnb rental home.
BEFOREÂ
According to Lizette, she wanted a minimalist look with a hint of industrial for her unit, and she achieved that with a Php350K budget!

LIVING AREA

DINING AREAÂ
Given the limited space, the homeowner opted for a kitchen island that doubles as a dining table. The light fixtures made the compact area feel more welcoming.Â
KITCHEN
Lizette's kitchen is tiny but functional. It has enough room for a sink, a stove, and a fridge. The homeowner also installed wooden shelves to utilize the vertical space.
BEDROOMÂ
The lady of the house added pops of color to her predominantly white bedroom.
Instead of getting a regular side table, she opted for a wooden step stool, which added a quirky touch to the minimalist space:Â

TOILET AND BATH
Just like the rest of house, the bathroom is Pinterest-worthy. The black fixtures add a nice contrast to the sleek white walls. Meanwhile, the glass shower enclosure helped elevate the overall look of the T&B.Â
