A young achiever receives the best reward—a cheery and bright makeover for her room

Roanne Castillo is mom to four-year-old achiever Niella. Together with husband Nathaniel, the couple wanted their daughter’s room revamped because it was the only room at home that's left untouched, and they were also already training her to sleep in a room by herself. They also see the makeover as a fitting reward for Niella’s achievements in school.

Interior designer Kathryn T. Villanueva stepped in to give the bedroom a refreshing new look. Upon inspection, she noted the wasted spaces, furnishings that needed replacement, and the gloomy ambiance of the young girl’s room.
