Most living areas—especially in semi-furnished condos—are made up of just the basics: couch, coffee table, lamp, and side table.

What you'll need:

  • Bungalow 300 Pillows, Dimensione
  • Wishbone Chair, Space Encounters
  • Framed Wallprint, Heima
  • Rotary Phone, Space Encounters
  • Coral Décor, Crossings Department Store
  • Gold Mini Basket, Crossings Department Store
  • Vases, Crossings Department Store
  • Baby Cowhide, Sifra Interiors and Objects

RL Tips:

  1. Dress up a ho-hum sofa with a bevy of pillows in colors that pop out.
  2. Throw in an accent chair whose lines and color contrast with that of the existing furniture.
  3. Incorporate decorative yet functional pieces, such as a basket used as a vase and a retro phone. Finish it off with a bold, framed print or photo and a rug to anchor the area.

We often opt for a neat and formal dining set that's common and safe.

What you'll need:

  • Holly Stools, Dimensione
  • LSA Globes, Dimensione
  • Giclee Wallprints, Heima
  • Multiple Choice Cup, Dimensione
  • Placemat, The Landmark

RL Tips:

  1. Keep the table and a couple of the existing chairs and throw in different types or chairs, stools, or even a bench.
  2. Replace plain placemats and dinnerware with fresh ones that reflect your style.
  3. In between meals, prettify the table with an attractive centerpiece. As a finishing touch, mount interesting prints on the wall closest to the table.

Your small bathroom need not be boring.

What you'll need:

  • Fniss Wastebasket, 5Corners
  • Candlestick, Crossings Department Store
  • Tufted Mat, Crossings Department Store
  • Umbra Soap Pump, Dimensione

RL Tips:

Bring in a couple of non-essentials with striking color and form such as a red wastebasket, curvy candlesticks, and some twigs placed in a vase. These items help create an impact.

The first thing that you can do in small kitchens is to maximize all shelves.

What you'll need:

  • Umbra Alcove Picture Frame, Dimensione
  • Burken 1.1L Jars, 5Corners
  • Café Folding Chair, Dimensione

RL Tips:

  1. Avoid clutter on counters by keeping condiments and appliances organized.
  2. If you have a shelf, assign a level each for the dry goods in identical clear canisters, cookbooks, and some décor.
  3. If you have a windowsill, line it with potted herbs.

The bedroom should make you feel refreshed and energized. It should also be relaxing and neat so you can enjoy a good night's sleep.

What you'll need:

  • Quilted Ottoman, Crossings Department Store
  • Umbra Lolly Photo Holder, Dimensione
  • Clock, Sifra Home and Objects
  • Pillow, Sifra Home and Objects
  • Cushion Cover, Crossings Department Store

RL Tips:

  1. Inject prints and color by having a couple of throw pillows and a striking bedspread (could be anything from quilt, throw, or sarong).
  2. Provide at least one side of the bed with a small table or ottoman to hold a clock, books, lamp, photos, and other things you’d like to wake up to; keep the table edited so it won’t end up cluttered.
