We’ve all encountered our fair share of haunted houses locally, with a majority of the homeowners peacefully coexisting with beings from another realm. But what about the haunted homes wherein the tenants are a little bit more…proactive?

New York-based artist Adam Ellis is experiencing exactly that, and is live-tweeting the supernatural occurrences in a thread called “Dear David” on Twitter, complete with videos and mostly-dark-but-still-terrifying photos of “David.” Though some articles claim that the Dear David hauntings are a hoax, the whole story is enough to make you not want to go to the bathroom at night.

Do you think this is true or not? Either way, Adam, get out of there!
