As we Filipinos are becoming more and more health-conscious, we’re also looking for easy and natural ways to improve our overall wellbeing. One way to do that is by using essential oils—potent substances extracted from a variety of plants. While there are many ways to incorporate oil in your daily routine, one of the easiest is by using a diffuser, a device that sprays essential oils in the air to promote various health benefits.

But what exactly are those health benefits? Well, it depends on the oil you use. Additionally, essential oils from peppermint and other “cooling” plants can relieve stuffed noses (a common thing during the rainy season).
