When homeowner Julie Olson decided that she wants a mobile home for her dog training business, she immediately sought help from Jason Dietz of Molecule Tiny Homes with a realistic vision in mind.

A couple of months later, Dietz finished her 12sqm (136 sq-ft) tiny house that includes a fold-out porch, storage stairs, two lofts, a slim closet, and a fully equipped bathroom with a tub, composting toilet, and a sink. Not only that, it can also run off grid with rooftop photovoltaic panels, solar batteries, a propane tank, and a tankless water heater.

The home was built in Santa Cruz, California and has since made its first trip over 3,000 miles to Maine where Olson moved with her furry friends to study. According to a piece Olson wrote for the Tiny House Blog, she loves living in her tiny home so much that it has inspired her to become a tiny house builder herself. Olson also hopes to create camper vans that can run off the beaten path without worrying about gas or bridge heights.
