You Can Book This Adorable,Coconut-Shaped House in Siargao
It's near the beach, too!
Siargao Island in Surigao del Norte is dubbed the "Surfing Capital of the Philippines" because of its barreling waves that draw in surfers from all over the world. The place has a number of hostels and resorts tucked behind coconut trees to keep that tropical island vibe. Smoke Beach Pods Siargao, a beachfront Airbnb, takes things further by offering accommodation that's inspired by the shape of a coconut.
Called Why Not Coconut, the air-conditioned room is good for two people with a maximum capacity of three. It has its own toilet and bath, a bed, and a small veranda with a bench. Guests also get a toiletries set, a welcome fruit basket, complimentary drinks, towels and linens, access to shared kitchen and laundry area, and 10% discount to surf lessons from Harana Surf School.
The property also has another accommodation option called the Glass House. The air-conditioned room is built on a hardwood deck and features a high ceiling fan, sliding glass doors, and vertical louvres to facilitate natural airflow.
