Tagaytay City in Cavite, which is now under Modified General Community Quarantine, is finally open after months of closure due to the ongoing global pandemic. Restaurants, hotels, and even popular spots like Picnic Grove and Sky Ranch are already accommodating tourists, as long as health protocals are implemented to quell the spread of the coronavirus. But if you want to enjoy its chilly weather while still mainting distance from the crowd, a private chalet lets you enjoy the peace and quiet with your loved ones. Chalet de Tagaytay is now available for overnight bookings for two to 10 people.

The rustic house features a 12-square-meter balcony where you have front-row seats to the amazing view of Taal Lake and surrounding verdant hills of Tagaytay Ridge. It's located 80 steps down from the main gate, ensuring privacy on your quiet weekend. You've got your own kitchen, bathrooms with hot shower, a living area, a dining corner, and a fire place. There's also another deck where you can lounge around on the sun beds.

According to the city mayor of Tagaytay on September 15, guidelines for interzonal and intrazonal movement issued by Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases are implemented. This means that a travel pass is officially required if you're coming from a region under the stricter General Community Quarantine like Metro Manila. Persons below 21 years old and above 60 years old are also technically not allowed to leave their homes for leisure purposes.
