Tagaytay's Sky Ranch, Picnic Grove, Restaurants Are Now Open to Tourists
Businesses are operating at a limited capacity of 80 percent.
Metro Manila folks eager for a quick getaway can now head out as Tagaytay's favorite spots are now back in business to boost the city's tourism industry after months of COVID-19 quarantines.
Nearly 80 percent of restaurants are open while 10 percent of big hotels have restarted while the rest await clearances from the Department of Tourism, Tagaytay City administrator Gregorio Monreal told ABS-CBN's Teleradyo.
Popular stopovers like Sky Ranch, Picnic Grove, and People's Park opened their doors once more to welcome tourists. However, operations are capped at 50 percent capacity to prevent crowding.
Visitors can drop by anytime, as long as they follow the health and safety protocols, Monreal said. These include wearing of face masks and social distancing.
Senior citizens and those below 21 years of age are prohibited from entering the aforementioned establishments, he said.
"Sa mga gustong pumunta ng Tagaytay, pakiusap namin ay sumunod lang ho sa aming health and safety protocols. Kung hindi ho ay kawawa ang ating mga establisimyento dahil kung magkakaroon ng kaso, automatic lockdown ho ang establishment (To those who want to go to Tagaytay, we request that you follow our health and safety protocols. If not, our establishments could get cases and it means automatic lockdown for that establishment)," he said.
